Muthanna Medical Journal (MMJ) is the official journal of the Al Muthanna Medical College started July 2014. MMJ is biannual peer-reviewed journal of high priority research, with open access. It is a not-for-profit charitable Journal listed and follows the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors “ICMJE’s” Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals. MMJ is considered an original articles covers the latest developments in the multidisciplinary areas of the medicine that includes; internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, dermatology, hematology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, parasitology and entomology, infectious diseases, microbiology and virology, immunology, epidemiology, chemotherapy and community medicine, public health, basic medicine and translation researches. The journal aims to promote, develop and exchange scientific knowledge and cooperation between clinicians, scientists, and others involved in the field of biomedical sciences. It also strives to promote scientific research in various aspects of biomedicine and to establish the highest ethical standards in biomedical research.
